Hi, I'm Danielle!

I’m a Front End Web Developer with a passion for HTML/CSS, JavaScript, and React. My interest in coding was sparked when, at the ripe old age of 12, I found myself tweaking background layouts for my MySpace page. As the years flew by and my love for programming grew, I searched for a way to turn my passion for coding into a career. That's when I decided to study at The Iron Yard.

After receiving a full-ride scholarship through the #YesWeCode Fund, I graduated from The Iron Yard's Web Development Immersive Program. During the course of this program I completed nearly 1,000 hours in lecture and worked though 60-80 hour weeks consisting of daily programming assignments and participating in group projects. Of all the things I learned during my time at TIY, the most valuable were learning HOW to learn. Hard work and persistence allowed me to complete projects and take pride in what I have created. How many people get to do what they are truly passionate about? Now I know at least one.
